Range Resources Ltd. is an Anglo-Australian E&P company with a 100% interest in three onshore production licenses – Beach Marcelle, South Quarry and Morne Diablo – as well as exploration acreage on Guayaguayare license (farm-in) and the newly awarded St Mary's license, all in Trinidad. The company is focused on growing its production through waterflood projects, combined with extensive shallow onshore development drilling. Range has proven reserves in place of 22.1Mb of oil. In addition, it has further interests in Guatemala, Somalia, Georgia and Colombia, including a 10% stake in three exploration blocks – PUT-5, VMM-7, and VSM-1 – following a joint operating agreement with the blocks' operator, Optima Oil Corp. (80%), and Petro-Caribbean Resources Ltd. (10% interest). The three blocks are found in mature basins of the Putumayo and Magdalena valley. Range also owns 20% of Latin American Resources, the operator of a project located in the South Peten basin in Guatemala where the Aztam 4 well was successfully drilled in 2013 and is producing 38 API oil.
