Description

Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional is an independent technical corporation of the Chilean State created in 2016 to unify the operation of the electrical system in the national territory since 2018. Headquartered in Santiago de Chile, Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional currenlty supervises the construction of diverse works to connect the power systems from Arica to Chiloé. The conection of the systems Norte Grande and Central will be carried out by the commissioning of Nueva Crucero Encuentro, Los Changos, Cumbres, Nueva Cardones, Nueva Maitencillo, Nueva Pan de Azúcar and Polpaico substations, and the installation of 1,484 km of 500KV transmission lines.
