Oleoducto Bicentenario de Colombia S.A.S.

Company Detail

Description

Oleoducto Bicentenario de Colombia S.A.S. is a consortium created by Ecopetrol in 2010 to build, operate and manage a 230km pipeline from the country's eastern plains (Llanos) region to the Banadia station, where it connects with Caño Limón-Coveñas pipeline. A planned 730km extension of the Bicentenario pipeline, originally designed to be carried out in two phases, has been suspended indefinitely. In 2014 Ecopetrol ceded its controlling stake to its transport and logistics unit Cenit, which now controls the group. Pacific Rubiales Energy and Hocol S.A. are the two other main shareholders.
