Pacific Infrastructure Inc. is a holding company owned by Colombian firm Pacific Rubiales (41.4%) and the International Finance Corp. (27.2%). The firm is an operating business established for the development, construction and management of port, transportation and storage assets, with its present focus on the construction and operation of Sociedad Portuaria Puerto Bahia S.A., a multi-purpose port facility. The company is developing assets for advanced technology in logistics and for improved access to goods and services in Colombia. Pacific Infrastructure aims to meet significant demand and supply needs for the country and aims to develop operating assets across multiple sectors in the Colombian market, including oil, hydrocarbons, mining, and general cargo. Pacific Infrastructure is currently developing the Oleoducto del Caribe (Olecar), a 142km pipeline that will connect Puerto Bahía's facilities with Colombia's main crude export terminal, Coveñas, on the Caribbean coast. The pipeline also will include a direct connection between Puerto Bahía and the Reficar refinery. The company was founded in 2008 and is based in Panama.
