Transnordestina Logística S.A.

Brazilian rail transport company Transnordestina Logística (TLSA), a subsidiary of local steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN), was granted a concession contract in 1997 to build the Nova Transnordestina railroad, a 1,728km line in Brazil's Northeastern region that sought to connect Eliseu Martins, in Piauí state, with the port of Pecém in Ceará state and Suape port in Pernambuco state. Incorporated that same year, the Ceará-based company provides railroad transportation services for the stations and land encompassed by the railroad and all the intermodal transport services required for its operations as well as serving as port operator.
