Description

YPF Luz, formerly YPF Energía Eléctrica, is the power generation unit of the Argentinean state energy corporation YPF operating since 2013 from its headquarters in Buenos Aires, which has 1,800 MW of power projects, it is building three wind farms with a combined capacity of 600 MW, and in 2018 it launched operations of its Loma Campana thermal power plant which has an installed capacity of 220 MW. The same year, General Electric acquired a 25% interest in YPF Luz.
