CBI Announces Brazil Energy Conference

United States-based conference company Center for Business Intelligence (CBI) will hold its IV Annual Brazil Energy conference March 25-26 in Miami, focusing on the effect of Brazil's current currency and financial crisis as it relates to the energy industries, the CBI announced. Investment bankers and credit raters, including ANZ Investment Bank, BankBoston, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Emerging Markets Partnership and Standard & Poor's will analyze various aspects of the crisis. Government officials will also speak on how recent regulatory change has affected the market. In addition, InterGen do Brazil, Ltda., Texaco Global Gas & Power, Light Servicos de Elecidade, Coastal Oil & Gas Corporation and Enron International will present case studies on thermal project development, distribution privatization, oilfield privatization, and integration of gas and electric projects.
