Crude basket up US$0.62/b Aug 28-Sep 1

Mexico's crude oil basket rose US$0.62 a barrel during the week of August 28-September 1 to close at US$57.70/b, according to figures from state oil company Pemex. The oil basket started the week at US$57.08/b, which also was the lowest price of the week. The high of the week, which began on Tuesday due to the summer bank holiday in the UK on Monday, was Friday. The previous week the country's crude oil basket price closed up US$1.19/b at US$59.95/b.
