EMC Reports Phase 2 Beroen Drilling

Arizona-based Ecuadorian Minerals (EMC) has received final assay results from its 2,600m, 27-hole second-phase diamond-drilling program on Beroen epithermal gold-silver property in Ecuador, the company announced. Results included 22.5m at 8.2g/t gold, 95g/t silver; and 2.9m at 46.5g/t gold, 344g/t silver, including 1.4m at 90.8g/t gold, 643g/t silver. A recently completed in-house, inferred resource estimate for the Alejandra and Dorada Zones using a 1g/t gold cut-off grade has outlined 1.07Moz gold and 7.6Moz silver contained within 7Mt of material at a grade of 4.8 g/t gold and 34 g/t silver. EMC has now drilled a total of 4,639m in 48 drill holes at Beroen, mainly on the Alejandra and Dorada targets. The company says it is planning an additional drilling program for these two zones.
