Gradiente plots return to handset manufacturing

Brazilian electronics company Gradiente plans to begin making its own mobile telephone handsets once again, after a two-year stint making Nokia (NYSE: NOK) handsets, local tech news agency IDG Now reported. Gradiente is eager to get back into the business after the lifting of a clause in the Nokia contract that prevented the company from using its own brand.
