Trellis expects revenue to grow up to 25% this year

Brazilian connectivity solutions provider Trellis expects this year to see its revenue grow up to 25% and its sales volume to increase 15% compared to 2008, the company said in a statement without providing hard figures. Last year, the company's revenue increased 22% compared to 2007. The expectation of growing more in revenue than in sales is due to the increase in prices following the strengthening of the US dollar, according to Trellis executive director Cassio Spina. The company has announced plans to invest up to 6mn reais (US$2.6mn) to broaden its product portfolio, mainly in new technologies for wireless networks.
