Ahciet awards Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Spain digital cities prize

The Ibero-American association of research centers and telecommunications firms Ahciet announced the winners of its 2013 digital cities awards during its latest conference in Quito, Ecuador, an association press release said. The winning cities included: Patzún, Guatemala (Cultural Heritage Digitalization); Mercedes, Argentina (E-Health); Santander, Spain (Open Government); Buenos Aires, Argentina (Open Government); Tulúa, Colombia (Citizen Participation); Río de Janeiro, Brazil (Citizen Participation) and Oviedo, Spain (Environmental Digital Stewardship).
