
ANE presents the public consultation on the use of the 900 MHz frequency band

Bogotá DC, October 29, 2021 - The National Spectrum Agency ANE presents the public consultation on the use of the 900 MHz frequency band for comments from citizens and interested parties.
The public consultation document presents the current status of national attributions and occupations for the segment of frequencies between 894 - 960 MHz, also known as the 900 MHz band, in the same way, some cases of international use of different administrations in the world and finally two possible attribution scenarios for this band are proposed.
The document seeks to know the position of the different agents for proposed use scenarios, considering the services and possible new developments or exploitation models of these radioelectric frequencies.
The public consultation will be open to all those interested in participating from October 29 to November 12, 2021. Contributions and comments can be submitted through the following channels:
Email consultapublica_banda_900mhz@ane.gov.co and at the ANE offices located at Calle 93 # 17 - 45 Piso 4 in the city of Bogotá.
