Business Tech opens office in Porto Alegre

Brazilian IT company Business Tech has opened an office in the city of Porto Alegre, in Rio Grande do Sul state, local IT news site Baguete reported. Company director Antônio Lopes said that the firm aims to generate one third of total revenues from clients located in Rio Grande do Sul, without providing further details The company also expects to start developing software in Porto Alegre in the first half of 2013, according to the report. "Our idea is to attract new customers and to move 80% of the technical area from São Paulo to Porto Alegre," company director for the new operation in Porto Alegre, Paulo Rocha, was quoted as saying. The company focuses on the provision of Business Intelligence solutions, using software from IBM, SAP, Totvs, Oracle, Microsoft and Qlikview.
