CNE launches Public-Private Short-Term Market working group

More than 40 participants had the first session of the Public-Private Short-Term Market Table, in charge of the National Energy Commission (CNE), where representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels ( SEC ) met , National Electrical Coordinator , and twelve trade associations of the energy industry.

The instance was attended by the Undersecretary of Energy, Julio Maturana, who pointed out the commitment of the Ministry of the branch, the CNE and the SEC, to carry out the conversations regarding the situation of supply companies that have declared the impossibility of pay its obligations derived from the Short-Term Market.

Finally, the representatives of each one of the members of the Table gave their vision on the situation of the national market.
