Brazil expanded its installed power capacity by 520MW in November, according to the mining and energy ministry (MME).
In a bulletin, MME said Brazil's generation park rose 6.494GW in the first 11 months of 2014 to 132.676GW.
Hydroelectric capacity grew 3.087GW year-on-year in November, wind 2.224GW and thermal power 1.583GW.
Meanwhile the country added 287MVA of transforming capacity in November. In the first 11 months, Brazil brought online 12.775GVA and 7,383km of transmission lines.
