Cooper Gay creates LatAm energy practice

Global wholesale insurance and reinsurance broker Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC) announced the creation of a regional energy practice for Latin America.

The unit will be based across the company's nine regional offices and be led by Luc Van Eyghen, country manager of Cooper Gay Chile. It will focus on the placement of facultative and treaty reinsurance for oil and gas explorations, as well as power generation projects, according to a CGSC release.
