Argentine renewable energy firm Impsa has reportedly put some of its Brazilian assets up for sale to boost cash flow
Media reports said that Impsa's decision was based on Brazilian unit Wind Power Energia's (WPE) "temporary situation of limited liquidity."
Website Recharge quoted Impsa as saying: "It's important to reaffirm that WPE's business continues on its normal course and that the company is working in favor of Brazil's infrastructure growth and that of its energy sector."
Impsa's Brazilian wind portfolio includes 730MW of installed capacity. It also has a turbine manufacturing plant in the northeastern state of Pernambuco.
