Mexico's state utility CFE has made two bond issues totaling 15bn pesos (US$1.04bn), its largest ever.
The issue was almost twice oversubscribed, generating 24bn pesos, which reflects investor confidence in the firm post-reform, the CFE said in a press release.
The issues comprised 5.5bn pesos at a variable rate for five years and 9.5bn pesos at a 7.35% fixed rate for 11 years.
Buyers of the debt were retirement, investment and pension funds, insurance companies and banks.
The issue concludes the firm's capital raising plans for this year.
