Peru's Enersur closes plant financing

Peruvian power producer Enersur closed financing for the Ilo thermo plant as part of the 1GW Nodo Energético del Sur project.

The deals were signed with BBVA Continental and Banco de Crédito del Perú, each for up to US$145mn, the generator said in a filing to securities regulator SMV.

Earlier this month, Enersur inked construction contracts for the 500MW complex due online in 2017.

Also in Peru, the energy and mines ministry reported that an EIS public hearing for Enel Green Power's 40MW Pampa Salinas wind farm is scheduled for August 29.
