Mexico bank fee proposal sparks backlash

With the Mexican peso and bank stocks still sinking, the private sector reacted strongly to the proposed elimination of essentially all bank fees. The leading majority lawmaker behind the proposal came out Friday to defend the initiative and said it would not be withdrawn.
