Brazilian private pension plan provider Brasilprev appointed Walter Malieni Júnior as CEO.
Malieni Júnior, a VP at state-run lender Banco do Brasil's corporate area, will replace Marco Barros, who has been Brasilprev CEO since the start of 2018, the company said in a statement.
Banco do Brasil, through its insurance subsidiary BB Seguridade, owns Brasilprev together with US-based Principal Financial Group.
One of the largest pension players in the country, Brasilprev closed November last year with over 250bn reais (US$66bn) in assets under management and 1.9mn clients.
The company's main distribution channel is Banco do Brasil's nationwide network of bank branches.
