Junior exploration roundup: Cabral, Cerrado, Tocvan, Riverside

Vancouver-based Cabral Gold reported additional assay results from four diamond drill holes and four RC holes as the company continues with infill drilling at the primary MG deposit in the Cuiú Cuiú gold district in northern Brazil.

Highlights include 63.5m at 0.9g/t gold including 0.5m at 12.7g/t gold, according to a statement.

Twenty-one additional short RC holes have been completed at MG to test the extent of the recently discovered gold-in-oxide blanket, the company said.

Toronto-based Cerrado Gold reported results from a further 25 drill holes totaling 1,208m from its ongoing 12,000m exploration drill program at its Minera Don Nicolás project in Santa Cruz province, Argentina. 

Intercepts include 4.57m at 22.4g/t gold including 2.33m at 42.4g/t gold, according to a release.

Other results include 4.85m at 7.69g/t gold and 8.40m at 3.91g/t gold.

Tocvan Ventures reported final results from its phase II drill program at the Pilar gold-silver project in Sonora, Mexico. 

Phase II involved over 3,500m of RC drilling in 20 holes, the Calgary-based company said in a statement. 

Results include 39.7m at 0.96g/t gold and 47.3m at 0.75g/t gold.

Vancouver’s Riverside Resources reported the first drill hole at the Santa Rosalia Sur target of its Cuarentas project in Sonora, Mexico.

Intercepts include 3.15m at 0.36g/t gold including 0.7m at 0.88g/t gold and 1.55m at 0.58g/t gold including 0.65m at 1.05g/t gold, according to a release.
