Vancouver-based Guerrero Exploration (TSX-V: GEX) has submitted the drill permit application, including the long form environmental impact report, to Mexico's environment ministry for its Cerro Azul copper-gold-silver project in Guerrero state. The company expects government officials will grant the finalized permit on or around June 30, at which point Guerrero can immediately begin a planned exploration drilling program without any further requirements. *** Calgary-based Bacanora Minerals (TSX-V: BCN) reported the results from the first diamond drill hole on the Fleur lithium concession in Mexico. Highlights include a 23.8m interval averaging 4,422ppm lithium for 2.36% lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) in its lower clay unit, the company said in a release. *** Vancouver's Evrim Resources (TSX-V: EVM) has received approval from exploration partner First Quantum Minerals (TSX: FM, LSE: FQM) for additional geophysics and drilling on its Suaqui Verde project in Mexico's Sonora state. The new campaign will focus on the area around drill holes DHSV12016 and DHSV13017, following the discovery of a new zone of porphyry-style alteration and mineralization in a previous exploration round. The total cost of the new drilling program is estimated at US$550,000, the company said in a release.
