Junior exploration roundup: Riverside, Filo, Blue Sky

Vancouver-based Riverside Resources provided an update on exploration work at the Glor gold project in Sonora, Mexico.

Exploration work this year at the property will include mechanical trenching, channel rock sampling and detailed geological mapping prior to a planned drill program, with trenching ongoing at the property's Pitaya target, according to a statement. Glor is a JV with Toronto-based Centerra Gold.

Vancouver's Filo Mining published exploration results at its Filo del Sol gold project in San Juan, Argentina.

Highlights of drilling included 84m of 1.36g/t gold, the company said. Filo, which has drilled 3,830m in 20 drill holes at the property to date, plans to step-out drill additional holes at the property's Filo South and Filo North targets this month.

Vancouver-based Blue Sky Uranium released exploration details at its Amarillo Grande uranium project in Río Negro, Argentina.

The company has completed 46 reverse circulation drill holes at the property's Ivana area to date, Blue Sky said in a statement. Work continues on a 3,000m drill program.
