IN BRIEF: Molymet approves Belgium investment

The board of Chilean molybdenum and rhenium processor Molymet has approved a US$44mn project planned for a chemical plant at its Sadaci subsidiary in Belgium.

In a filing with Chile's securities and insurance regulator SVS, Molymet said the project will complement its current roasting operations and allow it to produce more added-value products. The project will also provide more flexibility in terms of processing molybdenum concentrates, it added.
