Graña y Montero: Works awarded in Quellaveco project
Press Release by
We report that Fluor Sucursal del Perú has awarded, within the framework of a private tender, the completion of the work of Massive Ground Movements - Plant Area, from the Quellaveco mining project, to the GyM STRACON Consortium, formed by GyM SA, arm builder of the Graña y Montero Group, and STRACON GyM SA, for an amount of US $ 53.9 million.
The execution of the works in the Quellaveco Project, one of the flagship projects to be developed this year in the country, will last approximately 16 months and will require a team of more than 450 people.
We consider that the development of the project is a sample of the dynamism that will be seen in the mining sector this year and, GyM SA has the experience and sufficient capacity to provide its services in the development of the project and the sector.
