Bacanora has raised funding from the UK capital markets since listing on the AIM market in 2014, as well as adding three global institutional investors.

The company now plans to raise new debt and equity financing to fund growth, and intends to move its head office and senior management to the UK, which it said will result in significant administrative savings.

Almaden Minerals appointed Laurence Morris as vice president, projects and operations.

Morris, a mining engineer and geologist, will oversee development and construction of the Ixtaca gold-silver project in Mexico.

Vangold Mining started a PEA and resource valuation for its Pinguico precious metals project in Mexico.
