Expansion drives revenue growth for Peru's TGP
Transportadora de Gas del Perú (TGP), which transports Camisea NGLs and natural gas, reported year-on-year revenue growth of 19.9% in the fourth quarter to US$165mn.
The Peruvian company's latest MD&A attributed the increase to the operations startup of a transport capacity expansion to 920Mf3/d from 655Mf3/d in April. Profits reached US$53mn versus US$9.1mn in 4Q15.
TGP moved 664Mf3/d in 4Q16, up 11.8% year-on-year, led by deliveries to power generators that rose 15.9% to 444Mf3/d.
Shipments to regulated clients – through Cálidda and Contugas – slid 1.8% to 163Mf3/d while supply to large-scale industrial customers rose 26.7% to 57Mf3/d.
