IN BRIEF: Mexico updates onshore auction

Mexico's hydrocarbons regulator CNH to date has approved 19 evaluation and/or development plans that correspond to the same number of contracts out of a total of 25 signed following the onshore auction as part of Round One bidding.

The 19 plans (see table below, all figures in US$) total US$325mn, the watchdog said in an update.

Last August, CNH and the energy ministry signed the last six onshore contracts awarded at the December 2015 auction. New onshore auctions as part of Round 3 are scheduled for July.
