Openet considers additional office opening in Latin America in medium-long term
Bnamericas Published: Monday, April 08, 2013
Irish provider of real-time transaction management software and services Openet may open an additional office in Latin America in the medium or long term, the company's sales and marketing VP for the region, Antonio Junior, told BNamericas. The executive said that the opening of a new field office will depend on the evolution of the business in Latin American markets. In Latin America, Openet currently has an office in Brazil, with nearly 40 people. "We also have a small support office in Mexico," Junior said. In Brazil Openet's clients include Nextel and CTPC. In Latin America and the Caribbean, the company currently has 22 clients. Junior said that Openet aims to double its business volume in Latin America in approximately two years, without providing hard figures. The executive said that apart from Brazil, the company aims to attract increasing opportunities in markets such as Argentina, Chile and Peru. Openet has its headquarters in Dublin.
