Argentina launches Buenos Aires BRT corridor tender

Argentina's urban transport department Ptuma put out to tender the construction of a bus rapid transit (BRT) corridor in the southwest of capital Buenos Aires, according to information on the Ptuma website.

Ptuma has received a loan from the World Bank's IBRD to finance metropolitan urban transport initiatives and will use some of the funds for the so-called "Sistema BRT Corredor del Sudoeste – BRT Juan Manuel de Rosas (RN3) La Matanza-CABA" project.

Bids on the corridor are due by February 12. A reference price was not provided.
