Brazilian power regulator Aneel has paved the way for three hydroelectric projects totaling 376MW to be included in the next A-5 auction.
Technical details of the projects will be put to a public consultation from September 25 to October 14, Aneel said in a statement on Tuesday.
The projects under consideration are Itaocara (150MW, Rio de Janeiro state), Apertados (139MW, Paraná) and Ercilândia (87MW Paraná).
Aneel earlier this month postponed the auction to November 28 from September 30 due to hydroelectric permit delays.
All projects are due online by January 2019.
