Inframérica seeking airport concessions compensation

Brasília international airport operator Inframérica is planning to ask for compensation in the first quarter of 2015 for two concessions it manages in the country.

Inframérica, which holds the concessions for the Brasília and São Gonçalo do Amarante (Natal city) airports, will object to 60 contractual items. It argues the government has not fulfilled its obligations, local paper Valor Econômico reported.

If the petition is approved, civil aviation agency Anac could extend the concession duration or reduce the annual license payment, according to the paper.
