The Peruvian region of Piura has lined up infrastructure projects for 1.8bn soles (US$650mn), state news agency Andina reported.
Piura has finalized technical studies to pave highways for 1 bn soles, build the Sullana hospital for 200mn, and La Peñita water dam for another 200mn.
In the pipeline, the region also has the 45mn-sol Juan Pablo II bridge and works to offset the impact of El Ñiño weather phenomenon.
"We're leaving 1.8bn soles in profiles and technical studies to develop," Piura's president Javier Atkins was quoted by Andina as saying.
