Spanish construction and concessionaire company Sacyr has clinched a 230mn-euro (US$290mn) financing deal with Corpbanca and Banco Santander Chile to build a hospital.
Sacyr was awarded a 15-year concession to design, build and operate the Antofagasta hospital in Chile's northern II region. Works have started and are scheduled to wrap up by end-2016.
The Antofagasta hospital will be the largest in Chile, with 122,000m2 and 671 beds.
Sacyr has seven projects in the country for a total investment of US$2.3bn. Six projects are under construction, including the US$1.05bnAmérico Vespucio Oriente expressway in Santiago.
