
Rodrigo Dienstmann assumes the Presidency of Ericsson for the Southern Cone of Latin America

The executive Rodrigo Dienstmann, who has 28 years of professional career, with extensive experience in different areas of the technology and telecommunications sector, has just assumed the Presidency of Ericsson in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay, countries that make up the Cone South of Latin America to the company. He will report directly to Arun Bansal, president of the company for the MELA region (Market Area Europe & Latin America).
Rodrigo Dienstmann comes from Mobicare and Akross, companies focused on the development and operation of mission-critical software platforms, where he served as CEO since 2017. In the previous two years, he was COO of Vivo, the largest telecommunications operator in Brazil, part of the Telefónica Group, where he led the areas of Engineering and Operations, Information Technologies, Logistics, Customer Service and Quality Assurance.
Prior to that, Rodrigo was CEO of Cisco in Brazil, where he also led various business units for 6 years. In his professional career, he brings experiences as Executive Vice President at GVT, and Head of other business units, such as Retail, SMB and Enterprise; in addition to marketing, product management, sales and IT positions at Oi, Intelig Telecom, Iridium South America and Siemens.
Rodrigo has a degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the Federal Technological University of Paraná and an MBA in Business from IBMEC Rio de Janeiro.
