The opportunities that Colombia's ISA is eyeing
Brazil and Mexico are two markets on Colombian power transmission group ISA's radar of short- and medium-term investment opportunities.
During the company's 4Q16 earnings call, CEO Bernardo Vargas Gibsone highlighted a Brazil transmission auction expected to take place in the first half of this year.

He said that various projects in the auction offer synergies with the existing grid operated by Cteep, which ISA controls and is responsible for around a third of Brazil's total power transmission.
Vargas added that, in Mexico, ISA continues to evaluate the transmission line project Tehuantepec-Valle de Mexico.
