Venezuela expands Los Tanques transmission capacity
Venezuelan state utility Corpoelec completed installation of a 15MVA transformer at the Los Tanques substation in the state of Aragua.
In a statement issued by the firm, head of specialized maintenance Emilio Cornoado said the new transformer will increase substation capacity to 25MVA.
The upgrade is part of Venezuela's national investment plan to improve national grid electricity services.
