Brazil's Sanepar to provide support for residential water tanks

The board of Brazil's Paraná state water utility Sanepar called a shareholders meeting to approve a program to provide support for low income families to install water tanks in their homes.
The program, called Caixa d'Água Família Paranaense, will be voted on by shareholders on July 7.
"It aims to provide assistance to up to 30,000 families in vulnerable situations, through the provision of materials for the installation of water tanks in their homes, thus improving quality of life," Sanepar said in a statement.
The company did not unveil the budget for the program, which is part of a partnership between Sanepar and Paraná state's development department.
