Corsan to expand water infra Brazil tourist towns
Corsan, water utility of Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state, will kick off works to expand water supply in the municipalities of Gramado and Canela.
The company will invest 12.9mn reais (US$3.39mn) in works expected to start on Friday.
Of the total, 11.5mn reais will be used to upgrade a water treatment plant and build a water reservoir.
The rest will be invested in Gramado to renovate another water reservoir.
Works in Canela are expected to be concluded in six months and in Gramado in one year.
Canela and Gramado receive many tourists from all over Brazil during winter season.
