Honduras seeks proposals for rural water projects
Honduran water authority Sanaa is seeking proposals for potable water and sanitation projects in a series of rural departments.
Sanaa calls on non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to submit proposals for projects in the Choluteca, El Paraíso, Intibucá, Lempira, Francisco Morazán, Copan, Yoro, Cortés and Santa Bárbara departments, according to a tender notice on the UN Development Business website.
The projects will be financed with a 25mn-lempira (US$1.18mn) donation from the IDB and the Spanish fund for water and sanitation cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean (Fecasalc), as part of a wider potable water and sanitation investment program.
Project proposals should be submitted by November 4.
