Description

The project is the second expansion project of the El Torito Tailings Dump (TRET) and seeks to increase capacity by 54M, going from 181Mt to 235Mt. These works will not affect the productive processes of the "El Soldado" operation; The current tailings impel and transport system will be maintained, which will take the waste from the pumping station of the concentrator plant to the cyclone station, which will be relocated in the tailings dam. The increase in TRET capacity does not affect the way in which the structure is operated.
