Description

The Radomiro Tomic project, consists of crushing and transporting 100,000t/d of sulfide minerals from the deposit to be processed at concentrators at nearby Chuquicamata. The project will require 700 workers during construction. Radomiro Tomic workers will then take over during the ensuing operational phase. Radomiro Tomic, which is run by Chilean state copper producer Codelco's largest division, Codelco Norte, began operating in 2010.
