Description

The 63km Puerto Lavalle-Juan José Castelli pipeline will stretch from the Bermejo river to city Castelli, with capacity to transport up to 278l/s. The work is being financed by IDB under its Norte Grande water infrastructure initiative, and is expected to wrap up in 30 months. The project falls under Chaco's general water program, which aims to build 12-14 pipelines that will quadruple water capacity in the province to 25,000m3/h by 2014, boosting coverage to 93% and benefitting some 69,000 residents.
