Description

The Ancón project involves the construction of a container and bulk handling terminal, a deepwater port able to accommodate post-Panamax ships, and a 620m long quay. The project aims to increase the country's transport infrastructure by creating a regional transfer hub with direct access to the Panamericana Norte highway. The project was cancelled in 2011.
