Description: Capacity increase LAT 1x110 Costanera-Puente Alto High voltage electrical transmission lines The Project corresponds to a modification of the existing 1x110 kV LAT that connects the Costanera Substation with the Puente Alto Substation. It should be noted that the original Project was built prior to the entry into force of Law No. 19,300, so the modification of the line, the subject of this DIA, is not regulated by an Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA ). The modification, object of this Project presented for evaluation, consists of increasing the energy transport capacity of the existing 1x110 KV Line from 75 MVA to 175 MVA, line that joins the Costanera Substation with the Puente Alto Substation without modifying its route. , but there is replacement of posting in some structures and conductors of the line. Currently, the route subject to modification has 33 structures in total and extends for approximately 2,846 meters. While, to carry out the projected situation, it is necessary to modify its infrastructure because the current line does not have the conditions to transport the additional energy required by the Project. Therefore, it is required to maintain the structures of the 2 line frames (SE Costanera and SE Puente Alto), 13 posts will be maintained, 17 structures will be eliminated, 21 posts will be incorporated and 2 of them will be modified along the route, which will have a final extension of 2,877 meters and 38 structures in total. The Project contemplates satisfying the constant and increasing need presented by the energy demand at the communal, regional and national levels; allowing the power and energy available to be increased, improving the security and continuity of the electricity supply in the medium and long term by increasing the capacity to transport electricity from the high-voltage line that goes from the Costanera Substation to the Puente Alto Substation, framed within of the expansion plan of Transmisora Eléctrica Cordillera SpA.
