Description: Portezuelo Substation Expansion Substations The "Portezuelo Substation Expansion" Project consists of the Expansion of the aforementioned Substation, which has been operational since January 2006 and has a favorable Environmental Qualification Resolution through Exempt Resolution No. 1514/2005 of the Regional Commission for the Environment of the Liberator General Bernardo O'Higgins. The expansion considers incorporating a new 220 kV yard, a new autotransformer yard and the expansion of the existing 66 kV yard The objective of the Project is to develop the work of "Expansion in the Portezuelo Substation", described in Exempt Decree No. 198, dated August 5, 2019, which "SETS WORKS FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE NATIONAL AND ZONAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS THAT MUST BEGIN THEIR BIDDING PROCESS IN THE FOLLOWING TWELVE MONTHS, CORRESPONDING TO THE EXPANSION PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2018", which sets this work of expansion as part of the Annual Transmission Expansion Plan, referring to the National and Zonal Transmission System.
