Description: PUERTO NUEVO, ENSENADA MORENO, SENO SKYRING, COMMUNE OF RIO VERDE, REGION OF MAGALLANES AND CHILEAN ANTARCTICA Ports (water) The "Puerto Nuevo" project belonging to Skysal SA, corresponds to a port project for the attention of larger and smaller ships, destined to the transfer of cargo, passenger transport and is also oriented to serve as a platform and infrastructure for the development of tourism projects that are developed in the Seno Skyring area, as well as having the capacity to provide connectivity services to the community in various matters, including logistical support in case of medical evacuations, services to the livestock industry, support to the communal, provincial or regional government for the tour of the territory, among others. The project is located in the sector of Ensenada Moreno, Seno Skyring, Km 83.3 of Route Y-50, Commune of Río Verde, Province of Magallanes, Region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica. It has been operating since 2015, by virtue of Exempt Resolution No. 340 dated December 3, 2015 of the Environmental Assessment Service. The project considers mobilizing around 120,000 tons of cargo annually at full capacity, distributed between harvest, food and general cargo. This project aims to obtain a favorable environmental rating to authorize the construction (expansion) and operation of a port project for the operation of larger ships for the transfer of general cargo and support for activities such as the aquaculture, livestock, tourism, etc. that is being developed and that could be developed in the Skyring Sound, with a cargo transfer level of around 120,000 tons, distributed between harvesting fish, food and general cargo, as well as passenger transport, in compliance with what is established by the Superintendence of the Environment in its Exempt Resolution No. 1415 of June 16, 2021 and within the terms established in the schedule presented and approved by Exempt Resolution No. 1774 of the Superintendence of the Environment of August 10, 2021. In the same way, the Puerto Nuevo project will have the necessary infrastructure to serve as a platform for the undertaking of tourism-type projects, both public and private connectivity, livestock transport services or others that allow the port facilities to be used as a starting point. and landfall in the area, the foregoing in response to the scarce or null offer of port services in the area of Seno Skyring and sec nearby towers.
