Description

Brazilian telecommunications regulator Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) was created to promote the development of telecommunications in the country. The agency, which is administratively independent and financially autonomous, is responsible for activities such as implementation of national telecommunications policy, license regulation, managing radiofrequency spectrum, and protection of consumer rights.
